Aimee Glucina-Stevens
Aimee has been practicing Yoga regularly since 2013 and completed her first teacher training at The Practice Bali in 2017. She has since then attended and assisted a number of teacher trainings in both Hatha and Yin, and continues to study.
She came to Yoga following a close relationship with various styles of dance during a mentally, emotionally and physically challenging and unsettled time in her life. She found the initial impact profound, and the value yoga offers her continues to transform.
Alongside studying holistic health science, a regular yoga practice enabled her to find a renewed sense of both strength, empowerment and rest within her body and mind and a deeper and more compassionate connection within herself, and continues to do so. She values the capacity for rejuvenation and clarity that the practice offers, and teaches classes which are generally grounding and spacious for students to have the space to feel and connect to themselves. She values the traditional teachings passed on by her teachers and recognises the medicinal qualities of the practice. She values the importance of stillness as well as movement, and explores principles of both embodiment and meditation, and recognises the potential of how a regular practice can positively influence the ways in which students engage with life off the mat.
She looks forward to practicing with you.
